I just came across one of his videos on YouTube I grew up with Mexican neighbors, yes from Mexico. And, they brought traditional ways with them, one of the many things they brought where these beautiful candles...
They are not like the massproduced machine made ones we can find at amalls... No these took time to make, and where made by hand with such great care, and pride in the craftsmenship of making these candles.
Sadly in today's world of cheaper is better at any cost... And, quality is traded for quantity and no charactor... And, nothing having any real meaning anymore...
I see this video with what looked to be those simple homemade candles... I ckicked and watched...
The young man in the video decided rather than close up shop, and move on with life after his parents built this wonderful company... Mainly from the sounds of it his mom got started in this really old craft of candle making.
Naturally, as time went on she soon was doing other things as well, and expanded from just candles.
Having watched these cahndles be made, even tried amd messed up a few trying to make one myself. I know the joy something so simple as one of these candles can bring to your soul...
They are layer on layer of wax, that slowly and over time build up to become the candle you see. No two are alike, as each one being made entirely by hand using all natural products end up with unique and beautiful results...
