Wheels2Water was a group I started with friends and family in early 2004. It was about getting out in the water surfing together and also bring along some friends with spinal cord injuries who weren't able to do it on their own. After taking out a few people, the word spread around about what we were doing and pretty soon I had emails from all over the U.S. With the help of Life Rolls On, Newport Surf Shots and Surfline, they all helped spread the word on my goals and plans. Pretty soon it had become a group of over 50 people in a matter of days. We've held two surfing events and even got some people scuba diving.
